Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi is sitting in a corner of the ground and one look at him shows that his left foot is in pain. He has his mobile phone in his hand and is typing something.

Pakistan, India and Hong Kong are in Group A of the tournament.
The Asia Cup starts on August 27 in the United Arab Emirates.

This is the view of a cricket ground in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where the teams participating in the Asia Cup are practicing before the tournament.

Sitting alone, Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi gets up from his seat and puts his phone on the desk, and in the next second, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal appears on the screen.

In the next scene of the video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Yuzvendra Chahal can be seen hugging each other.

Both ask about each other's condition and Yuzvendra Chahal asks the Pakistani fast bowler about the reason for his injury. Shaheen Shah Afridi tells him about his injury that 'it will be fine by the World Cup' and he was injured during the Test match in Sri Lanka.

Shaheen Shah Afridi asks the Indian spinner,

"Aap Sanao, how is it going?" All grown up?', to which Yuzvendra Chahal nods his head.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement last week that due to injury, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will not be able to be a part of the Asia Cup T20 tournament and the home series against England.

Regardless of the political issues of India and Pakistan, the cricket stars of both the countries are seen as friends rather than enemies at least on the ground.

Who can forget Virat Kohli's friendly pictures and videos with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan during the T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and India last year.

Indian batsman Virat Kohli's batting form has not been good for the past several months but in a video shared by PCB, he seemed more concerned about Shaheen Shah Afridi's injury than his batting form.

After Yuzvendra Chahal, Virat Kohli also came to meet Shaheen Shah Afridi and shook hands with him. In the video, Virat Kohli asks the Pakistani fast bowler, 'How are you?' Shaheen Shah Afridi looks at his feet and tells him, 'It's better now.'

In the video, the voice of the conversation between the two is not very clear, but the voice of Shaheen Shah Afridi is quite clear at one place.

He is telling Virat Kohli, 'Praying for you to come back to form.' Former Indian captain thanks Shaheen Shah Afridi for praying.

It should be noted that Virat Kohli is currently going through the most difficult phase of his career.

It has been more than 1000 days since he scored a century due to which many hopes are being placed on him for the Asia Cup.

Virat Kohli's last century was in Kolkata Test against Bangladesh in 2019.

In the same video, Shaheen Shah Afridi was seen slagging off more Indian players.

In the same video, Pakistani coaches Muhammad Yusuf and Saqlain Mushtaq can be seen meeting Indian team selector Sunil Joshi warmly.

Muhammad Yusuf who came from a distance says 'Joshi baba' and shakes hands with the Indian selector and Saqlain Mushtaq standing there says that he (Muhammad Yusuf) has become naughty.

On this comment of Saqlain Mushtaq:

Sunil Joshi says 'When did you tell me?'

In the video shared by PCB, other Pakistani stars Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz can be seen chatting with other Sri Lankan players.

The Asia Cup will start from August 27 in the United Arab Emirates and will continue till September 11.

Six teams are participating in this tournament. Pakistan, India and Hong Kong are in Group A of the tournament while Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh are in Group B.
